med terms

I’m not really an expert when it comes to medical terms as I’m definitely not fluent in the language of doctors and nurses. Though I’m not really afraid of blood and all, I think I’d drown myself with the words that these medical professionals use. One of the things that fascinate me would be babies and how they are born. When the umbilical cord is being cut during the delivery, I used to squint in pain, thinking that it would hurt because it would be useless again. However, I just found out that it can also be put to good use because over 12,000 umbilical cord blood stem cell transfers happen in order to treat about 75 different conditions.
Cryo-Cell is offering a great discount for those families to keep their baby cord’s blood for storage in the future. Never knew this could be quite useful.

I actually have friends who are graduates of these medical fields, whether it be nursing, biology, med school, nutrition and dietetics etc. and it’s really amazing to see them grow in their fields. I don’t really think I’ll survive if I were put into these courses. It’s nice to be able to help people out and making other people well. But I’ll just probably leave it to the experts.
