CamSur Caramoan: Matukad and Lahos Islands

Camsur day 1: Matukad and Lahos Islands
Caramoan, Camarines Sur

From Villa Juliana Inn, we headed straight to Paniman so we could start our island hopping tour. We met some travelers as well from Manila who also dropped by the place and joined us in going to the islands. It was nice to meet some people who share the same passion in traveling.

We visited Matukad Island where we there were a number people. We were able to climb a rock to see a green lagoon (albeit small). The rock climbing was worth it but at times scary since we're not used to climbing (duh). But it was nice to be able to do some form of physical activity, but little did we know we'd be doing a lot 2 days later (will blog more about it).

Anyway, after Matukad, we went to Lahos island wherein we just lounged around and rested on the sand. We also saw some wood that were used by Survivor Bulgaria after their shoot. We tried to wait for the sunset but the sun was shy.

After the island hopping in Matukad and Lahos, we dropped by another island to wash off with fresh water. I forgot the name of the place. We also had some

Island Hopping Boat Charge – P1500 (two islands) but you can get a cheaper rate! Tour Guide Charge: P500 – standard rate Villa Juliana room rate – P500 per night (good for 4 persons)

  2. Nice adventure and tnx for sharing. Have you passed at the other side of matukad (west part)? I am planning to camp on that side 'coz a little bit secluded. But the image on google earth is not clear enough, but i assume there is a small secluded beach there enough to set up a tent and stay for a night.
