We were invited for dinner at Madeleine Cafe and Boulangerie to try out their Weekly Specials and we were surprised that they reserved us a seat at the corner of their terrace to watch the Dubai Fountain Show. This was a special treat considering we had a clear view of the Burj Khalifa Lake below.
The restaurant brings back items that have been offered in the past to spice up the menu and to have something fresh to showcase to their patrons. These specials are posted on their menu board and include a 3-course set.

Beautiful Dubai Fountain View at Madeleine Café Terrace
Both times we ate at Madeleine, we sat inside. This time was different as we had a table in a corner of their terrace which is one of the best seats in the house. You get an clear view of the water fountain show on the Burj Khalifa lake. Arriving at 7 pm, one of the shows has already started. Not to worry as a different song with an orchestrated fountain display comes up every 30 minutes.

The Three-Course Set
Outlet manager, Mr. Mohit, helped us with our menu selection and had a three-course set prepared for us. It was a grand dinner time that we were so full afterwards! Here are photos of the food in Madeleine Café & Boulngerie.
Fresh mocktails to beat the Dubai summer heat! We ordered our favorites: mint lemonade and parisian sunrise.
Parisian Sunrise and Mint Lemonade
For starters, we had a fois gras (duck liver, fig jam and toasted brioche) and Lentilles de Oeuf Poche (Poached egg with puy lentil, turkey lardon and smoked red pepper)
Fois Gras de Canard Torchon

The main meals, we had a sea bass fillet served with La Ratte potatoes, beans, asparagus, olives, cherry tomatoes and capers in noisette butter and the a boneless chicken thigh caserole served with Pilaf rice.
Filet de Loup Nicoise
Cuisse de poulet Basquaise
For dessert, we had two: Berries frangipan tart and Coffee ice cream with lightly sweetened coffee and Chantilly cream.
Frangipane Tarte Fine de Baise and Cafe Liegois
The Weekly Special dishes are posted on the board inside the restaurant. If you opt to dine inside, you still have a beautiful Parisian-inspired setting which is something that is also worth noting.

Dubai Water Fountain
The Dubai Water Fountain is the largest choreographed fountain system in the world. It is one of the amazing and FREE tourist attractions in Dubai where you can take your family and friends who are visiting this Emirate. It has daily evening shows that start at 6pm to 11pm, lasts for about 5 minutes, and plays a different song/display every 30 minutes.
We spent hours enjoying dinner and watching the beautiful fountain display. What a nice spot it was and we couldn’t be any more thankful that they reserved us a table with this view.

Great attraction for families and friends
It was a pleasant dinner experience as we enjoyed the food and the water fountain below. We spent more than 2 hours admiring the view and the beautiful evening.
