just a penny

enjoy every moment spending time with the people that matter most to you. you’ll never know when it will all end. for life has its unjust way of separating your paths and turning your world upside-down. the moment you reach the turning point of your journey, the more you become vulnerable to the demented side of the world. so when everything suddenly changes, you’re caught off-guard; which makes things even worse. but when the connection is strong, and the relationship you’ve built and maintained stays adamant to the trying times of hardship and loss, you know you’ve made it; and the bond of friendship becomes tighter than it ever was. you may have different roads to take in life, friends may meet old and new people alike; but as long as you keep each other’s memory alive and burning, you’ll surely remain unbreakable.

PS: i’m not unhappy. this is just an entry originally written in my CWTS(a subject) journal which is also in my ‘Drafts’ folder for some time. was waiting for a moment, when the rest of the blogging world is dispirited, to publish it coz i know this isn’t the right time. but i can’t say i was forced either. di ba mia? hehe… anyways, happy new year pa rin uli!!!

going separate ways doesn’t mean forgetting. it’s really the bond that has been built throughout the years that makes a friendship strong.Paul

hapi 3 kings! very well written piece. almost poetic tho serious. well, people grow and change so the relationship should adjust accordingly. still, there are friends who, even with years and miles between them, can still connect as if they last met yesterday. and now, we also have virtual friends who we never meet but share a lot with. :)crunchies
