NSO

I dropped by the eCensus website so I can apply for an NSO-certified birth certificate. I followed the steps, went to the nearest Banco de Oro bank and paid the fee (300 pesos), and I’m waiting this week to get it.

By then, I’ll be a step closer to getting a passport. I don’t know why I didn’t want to get one in the first place. Maybe because I’ve always thought that I wouldn’t get out of the country until I can get a degree. But then again, things change; so do perspective.

I then realized that this will be for something I can benefit in the long run. Even if I don’t have any plans going out of the country yet, at least I’m prepared. I just hope everything turns out smoothly as you know how tedious it is to update your records in the government.

  1. bitaw, best be prepared. at least now, you’ve got a passport to add to your “valid” IDs when you transact business with agencies or organizations. =)
