Pundaquit Zambales Trip: Anawangin Cove, Nagsasa Cove and Capones Island
February 18-21, 2011
So how much did I spend in our trip to Anawangin Cove, Nagsasa Cove and Capones Island in Zambales? Around 2556.50 Php. Air Fare is NOT included though as it varies on the promo. But just to let you know, our fare only cost only 250 Pesos each… roundtrip.
The amount is composed of expenses from Cebu to Clark and going back to Cebu (including airport terminal fees).
It helped a lot that we were able to travel as a group (there were 4 of us) so we were able to divide our expenses. We made sure to stick on a budget on this trip and discussed our itinerary over a conference call in Skype to make sure that we stayed on track.

Note: We spent around 6 hours overnight in Sunshine Lodge. This was a dirt-cheap lodge since we just wanted a place to get some quick shut-eye instead of sleeping in the bus terminal in Olongapo. We also went to Manila after the trip to drop by some areas. But I just placed it as if we were going back to the Clark airport for consistency purposes on how much one can spend on a trip to Zambales from Cebu.
The expenses above is based on my own costs. A little variance may have happened along the way between each one (extra snacks/souvenirs) but this based on my calculation. It’s great that when you think about it, it’s not as costly we thought it would be. It helped a lot that Anton and Teresa brought spare tents for us to use which meant that we didn’t have to rent a tent from our boatman.
This trip was one of a series of trips that we suddenly booked and decided to spend our weekend in the islands and coves of Pundaquit, Zambales. No need for us to find some car hire UK for rent because all we had to was commute using jeepneys and vans at the terminal in Clark.
Next up will probably be my ending post on this Zambales stop. Probably I’ll write another ‘Tips and Things to Know’ post albeit a short one. Finally, I’m almost done! haha.
