full moon shines beneath
the sparkling sand,
two souls
savor the night.
speaking in abstract tongues,
concealed by luminous shadows. shoulder meets head;
he sits, she rests.
underneath sights of
nothingness,
lie
a deep connection of trust.

palms clasp;
he dictates
the last book which in turn,
constitutes perplexity
with eyes
wide open.

friendship serves
it’s alibi,
compromising ambiguity.
he justifies but
she bids
goodbye.

in still ambience,
isolated
from warmth and
alone
in conclusion;
it breaks.

raindrops,
falling
without reverie;
tranquility resides as
he weeps in
cold muteness.

for as
reality turns,
one heart loses breath.
and miserably anticipates…
foolish
resurrection.
