During one of our last days in Manila, one of the OMs (from Texas) of another site who was also sent to help out in the new account said that she wanted to eat dinner with us. My colleague said that we didn’t want to go since we were running out of budget. That’s when she said she’ll treat us out. We didn’t hesitate to finding a good place to eat. Since Edsa Shangr-la was just a walk from the hotel, we said we wanted to eat there. She thought about it and agreed, without really thinking too much of the consequences of our decision. hehe.
We were so thankful we got to eat there, for free! yey. I was so full I couldn’t remember what I ate.
It was a buffet dinner and there were a number of cuisines that you could choose from (Mexican, Filipino, Japanese…) as well as pick a number of cakes and ice cream for dessert.
When we got the bill, haha, nevermind. It was around P1,500 per person. Yikes. At least it was for free. Never had I imagined I’d be able to eat in this place. It’s too fancy for my taste. hehe.
