misconception about my blog

It’s nice to help out people with their questions about my trips *ehem* budget trips around the Philippines. But here’s just a heads up for those people who are still new to blogs and what I do here in soloflighted.com

I don’t own any of the stores that I’ve mentioned here, I don’t get paid to write my thoughts on the places I’ve visited; unless otherwise stated. But most of the travels that I’ve had, they’re all budgeted. Although I do accept sponsored reviews from advertisers (and they’re not that many), I usually put a disclaimer at the end of the post to inform my readers about them.

Anyway, such is the case about a woman who emailed me a proposal to set up a Chocolat franchise in one of the busy districts that in Manila. She left a comment on my blog when I talked about visiting the Chocolat store in Mall of Asia.

I replied, saying:

hi Mary Ann, I believe it would be better if you contact the people behind Chocolat cakes using their multiply account which is chocolatcakes.multiply.com so you can send your proposal to them.

I even gave her the contact details of Chocolat just to ensure that her message was sent properly.  However, she sent an email about their proposal for that store to be put up in the property. She even thought I’m a woman. haha.

The place looks inviting, especially when you target a market that is as good as a school. I’m sure there will be a lot of student customers who’ll make this place their next hangout if ever Chocolat Cakes decides to occupy it.

So here I am, posting your proposal for other people to see. It’s really a nice place, guess it’s pretty expensive too. Anyway, I should have a cut incase Chocolat will take ownership of the property. hehe. Real Estate agent wannabe ba?

I hope that the Chocolat store owners can coordinate with the woman since she’s keen on proposing a franchise in one of the developed estates in Taft Avenue. I haven’t had much time to talk to them, I just wanted to post this in my blog. Malay mo di ba? hehe
