ninong Ed

The day after our trip to Kawasan falls, I had another event to attend. It was a Sunday and I attended the baptismal celebration of the daughter of my colleague at work. The father is my workmate and he informed me that I was to be his daughter’s godparent… It’s my first time to become a ninong. Somehow, this responsibility is making me see myself in another light. Probably because I’ve never been a godparent.

Anyway, it’s been awhile since I last participated in a mass celebration. Even so, I wasn’t able to start it properly. Still it makes me wonder, maybe I should go back and strengthen my faith.

I just had my flu vaccination. A needle piercing through my skin felt good somehow. I know tomorrow I’ll be weak again.

I’m still waiting for next week, if the trip (business trip) will push through. I need to get my modules straightened out and insert a week’s worth of training into my brain. The bad thing is we’re supposed to be packaged as experts of this line of business but then I don’t see the proper experience in me. I need to work on the double then.
