Things to Do If I Go Back to Macau

As I was scanning through old photos in my laptop’s hard drive, I came across an album of my Macau trip 2 years ago. This was the first time I stepped foot on international soil and because of this, I realized that I could go to different places if I really wanted to.

Anyway, looking at the pictures of Macau, I can’t help but think about what I’ll do if I go back for the second time.

Bungy Jump at the Macau Tower (again!)

I can’t get enough of my bungy jumping experience at the Macau tower that I want to do it again. I know it’s something that I need to prepare myself for since the price of the bungee is expensive. However, I already have a card that gives me a discounted rate so I wouldn’t mind using it for this death-defying stunt.

Maybe this time I’ll try falling backwards, or maybe I’ll do a tandem bungy. Whatever happens, I shouldn’t miss out on another exhilirating experience.

Senado Square Food

I’m a sucker for free food that’s why I will have a quick stop at the Senado Square because of the free samples that are being offered left and right.

On the way to the Ruins of St. Paul, store attendants offer free taste of beef jerkies, cookies, and snacks that they are selling. With so many people around, I don’t think they’d notice if I keep going back for more. I remember that those cookies actually served as my lunch for that day!

Bungy Jump at Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

You might’ve thought that after my bungy jumping experience in Macau, I wouldn’t dare do anything extreme for awhile. However, when I visited Kuala Lumpur a month after our Hong Kong trip, I was able to do another bungee jump at Sunway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I don’t really have any wishes to die … Read more

Thoughts and Tips on My Trip to Macau

I wanted to write some entries on my thoughts and tips of a particular destination I’ve been. I’m starting it off with Macau as we only spent a day there; which means I have lesser thoughts, hehe. I can’t really call this a Guide, but you may pick up some notes and tidbits that you might find useful if ever you drop by this area of the globe.

Spending some time in Macau made me wonder where the people get the money to bet and gamble. It also made me  see how buildings were  carefully put up in order to form stunning structures with great entertainment to included.

This was a great way for me to check out what the place has to offer as I didn’t really expect a lot except for the bungee jumping experience at the Macau tower. Here are a few thoughts and tips about Macau that you can use for reference. Hope this post helps!

Macau Side Trip: Macau Tower and Fisherman’s Wharf

Macau Side Trip: Bungy Jump at Macau Tower and Fisherman’s Wharf

This is the last part of our side trip to Macau when we traveled to Hong Kong for a vacation. Definitely this was the highlight of the whole event because of the opportunity to bungy jump from the world’s highest bungee! We also dropped by the Fisherman’s Wharf which was a scenic view, reminiscent of Rome.

After watching the free shows at the Wynn Hotel, we rode a taxi proceeding to the Macau Tower. We didn’t wait for a shuttle bus ride because we would have to stop over another hotel in order to get to the tower which would take more time. I didn’t want to miss out on the tower because there might have been a long queue due to the number of tourists around.

My Bungy Jumping Experience at the Macau Tower

“Has anybody died from bungy jumping here?” – I had to bluntly ask the attendant at the lobby of the Macau Tower.
“No sir, if there had been an accident, all of our AJ Hackett locations would’ve closed down.” – I liked the frank response.

It’s been 10 days after I bungy jumped from the Macau Tower, but the incident is still fresh in my mind. All the way from Cebu to Hong Kong to Macau, I never imagined I could do this, well I did; but I didn’t think it would come too soon.

Check out my video of bungy jumping from the world’s highest bungy. I initially planned on editing it in order to save whatever dignity I had left but I changed my mind. What the heck, right?

soloflightEd bungy jumps from Macau Tower!

Just got back to the Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hongkong from a day tour in Macau. It’s been a tiring day and I was really amazed at the casinos and buildings in Macau. I didn’t expect it to be really amazing.

But I had an even better time when I was able to cheat death by bungy jumping from the Macau Tower! I’ve been planning the bungy jump since last year and finally I did it!
