I have arrived in Hongkong. I have stepped on foreign soil, finally!
I got lost in the process and I’m still tired from all the walking. We went to the Mongkok Computer Center today and was amazed at the electronics and other gadgets that were available. I bought a Wireless router for myself – that’s the only thing I bought for this day. I paid only 158 HKD (around 900 Php) for it!
standing still in a sea of moving people in Hongkong!
There’s really a lot of people and the shops close at 11pm so it’s a very busy place.
Tomorrow is our second day; I’m planning to drop by Suntek shop at Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui because of a blog entry that Flaircandy made during her trip in Hongkong some time ago. She was able to buy a lens at a cheap price and I want to find out for myself if there are better options for me to buy quality lenses for my D80 camera.
I’ll probably be posting more pictures day by day but it all depends if I’m not too tired already. I just wanted to create a quick update on my trip from Cebu to Hongkong.
